Mr. West has over 25 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Marketing, Sales, and Engineering Management positions working for both established companies and start-up organizations. After a fifteen year career as a systems engineer, manager and designer of software and signal processing applications for the aerospace and medical equipment industries he moved to Sun Microsystems where he held a variety of customer facing roles primarily in channel sales and strategies. While at Sun Microsystems, Mr. West was trained as a Six Sigma Greenbelt. In 2004 Mr. West left Sun Microsystems to join WTRS performing roles in both analyst and business development. In 2006 Mr. West was appointed President of WTRS. His technical focus is on macro-economic trends and financial analysis and the impacts of these trends on technology adoption.

Dr. West has 14 years of experience in Business Development, Technical Marketing, and Market Research positions working for both established companies and start-up organizations. As the co-founder of WTRS, she worked on behalf of small and medium sized OEM companies to establish sales channels for new Windows CE products. While with WTRS, she also consulted to large semiconductor OEMs to aid the companies in defining product differentiation, product positioning, and sales strategy. She also worked in a early-stage startup as the inside sales manager to establish OEM accounts and design overall department guidelines and processes. Her technical experience ranges from research at NASA Ames Research Center to the Laser Laboratory at University of California at Irvine. Her focus at WTRS is on forecasting emerging wireless technology markets such as IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, EnOcean, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11n, UWB, Certified Wireless USB, and WiMax.

Dr. Hall has 12 years experience consulting to businesses and research think tanks. As the co-founder of WTRS, she consulted to medium and large companies providing market positioning strategy. She reviews historical trends and their impact on technology adoption. Her focus for WTRS is to organize and direct overall research programs.

Mr. Hall brings more than 40 years experience in marketing and publishing, including the last 18 years as publisher of Markgraf Publications Group, producing serious works of non-fiction, limited fiction and poetry, blending trade publishing with academic markets, emphasizing direct marketing. For WTRS, Mr. Hall manages overall operations and marketing activities.

Mark Opperman - Technology Analyst
Mr. Opperman has spent over 30 years in the high technology computing and software industry. His most recent position was as a Director at Sun Microsystems where he focused on new business development in Japan and China. He also holds a patent on a method for extracting profiles and topics from a markup language based on early work he did for the Web. He received a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences from Stanford University. He has studied Chinese at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Oriéntales in Paris.
